A. The cryptocurrency ecosystem as a whole is experiencing a rapid increase in mainstream support. With increased media attention comes an increase in adoption rates but getting started with cryptocurrency can be confusing. A. We calculate and monitor a wide variety of models, in many cases using proprietary algorithms to further enhance the probability of superior returns with less risk. In addition to diversification across timeframes, we also provide diversification through several different time-tested technical approaches: 1. moving average models, 2. momentum models, 3. volatility breakout models, and 4. price channel breakout models.

A. We don’t believe in blindly following trend reversal models. For example, if we are using a two moving average crossover model when a buy signal is triggered by a shorter-term average crossing above a longer-term average and a sell signal is triggered by the reverse, blindly following only that model for specific trades might work in the long run, but it exposes the trader to too much risk in the meantime.  The experience is not sustainable.  Buying and selling on these signals are too simplistic and would produce a day-to-day experience that would be too hard to tolerate.  

Thus, we employ these models in more sophisticated ways as part of our overall analytical framework.  

First, we will calculate and monitor the reversal versions of these models to give us an overall sense of the trend and the strength of the trend. But for specific trading recommendations, these models will serve solely as an entry signal or entry filter.  We will use other methods to trigger exits, and still other techniques for re-entry signals.
